Chickpeas, chorizo & pimentón
Spring is just round the corner and it always brings more green and lightness to my food. However, although the days get longer and daffodils and crocuses start appearing around the trees, I still feel like hearty, warming dishes. As I am soon heading off to Spain for a short break I started searching for recipes that contain classic Andalusian ingredients and here they are – a trio of spicy chorizo, chickpeas and pimentón pepper! This recipe reminds me of the tapas I enjoyed in Málaga a couple of years ago, and therefore it brings back the memories of sunny and warm April afternoons that I am so looking forward to! This dish works well as a starter or as one of a few sharing (tapas-style) dishes.
